Matcha responds easily to its environment

As a fine powder, matcha is sensitive to light, moisture, air and strong odors. Read the label first and close the container securely after opening.

Take only what you need and put it back

Decide the amount before whisking and use a clean, dry utensil. Avoid leaving the container open for long.

Watch for condensation after refrigeration

If refrigeration is recommended, handle the container to avoid condensation inside. Follow the product instructions for opening and use.

Enjoy a small amount while it is fresh

Choose a size that suits how often you drink matcha. Notice changes in aroma and flavor, not color alone.

Storage varies by package and product. Follow the producer’s or seller’s instructions, including whether refrigeration is needed.
